Celebrating Baby Vaeda's Journey Home

Everyone, I’d like you to meet Baby Vaeda!

After 68 days in the NICU, this little warrior has finally come home! Her amazing parents, Erica and Tad, have been her rock through it all. Their strength and love have been truly inspiring.

A New Beginning for Vaeda

We are thrilled to announce that we’ll be starting a blog to follow Vaeda through all her milestones. We will celebrate each one in a big way! Erica and Tad have graciously agreed to let us share in their daughter’s incredible journey.

I’ve never met Erica before this. If I had passed her on the street, I wouldn’t have known her. She called me last minute for a baby sign, and I couldn't say no! I’ve also never written a blog before. However, God put this crazy, beautiful idea on my heart: to offer free sign set-ups for Vaeda’s special moments all the way through elementary school.

When I reached out to ask, I had no idea of the challenges this sweet girl had been facing over the past two months. Vaeda was born with bilateral vocal cord paresis and needed a trach to help her breathe. But this girl is a fighter. We believe her story is going to be an amazing one, and I could not be more excited to watch her bloom.

Community support plays a vital role in the journey of families like Erica and Tad. It helps them feel less isolated during challenging times. When a child faces health issues, it can be overwhelming. But knowing that others care can make a world of difference.
